Accessibility Statement

This accessibility statement applies to the NOVUM Hospitality website published at www.novum-hospitality.com.

NOVUM Hospitality strives to make its website and mobile applications accessible in accordance with national legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council. This accessibility statement is based on a self-assessment.

1. Status of Compliance with Requirements The accessibility requirements arise from Section 1 of the HmbBITVO in conjunction with Sections 3, Paragraphs 1 to 4, and Section 4 of the Federal Act on Accessibility (BITV), which was issued on the basis of Section 11 of the Act on Accessibility (HmbBGG). The verification of compliance with the requirements is based on a self-assessment conducted on May 28, 2025.

This website is partially compliant with the requirements of BITV 2.0 and WCAG 2.1 (conformity level AA). The areas listed below are not yet fully accessible or only partially accessible.

2. Non-accessible content and features The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

Videos without subtitles or audio description: Some older video content does not yet have full subtitles or audio descriptions. We are working to add these for relevant content. New videos will be published with subtitles by default.

PDF documents: Certain PDF documents (e.g., archive materials, older publications) may not be fully accessible (e.g., no tags, not readable). We strive to make new PDF documents accessible and to provide important older documents in accessible formats where needed. Please contact us if you require a specific document in an accessible format. Contrast ratios: In some areas of the website, the contrast ratio of text to background may not be optimal for certain fonts or elements, which can make readability difficult for people with visual impairments. We continually review this and adapt the design accordingly. Forms: Some complex forms may still need to be optimized with regard to field labels and error messages for screen readers. We are working on improving the user interface and ARIA attributes. Images without alt text: A small number of decorative images or older graphics may not yet have appropriate alternative text (alt attribute). This will be corrected when the relevant pages are revised.

The arbitration board´s task is to support out-of-court dispute resolution in disputes regarding accessibility between people with disabilities and public authorities.
