Developments related to the coronavirus as well as possible future restrictions arise dynamically and unpredictably. To maintain your flexibility in this situation, we offer you our Best Flexible Rate. This way you keep full control over your reservation. You can change or cancel your booking free of charge until 6pm on the day of arrival.
Of course, we are also at your disposal personally, in case you have any questions regarding your reservation in connection with the current situation. Our reservation center is open from Monday to Friday, from 08:00 am - 9:00 pm and Saturday to Sunday plus holidays, from 10:00 am - 6:30 pm.
Cashless payment & digital invoice management - our the niu app offers you both and even in one place. Especially in these stormy times, it is all the more important to protect us all even more and further minimize the risk of contagion. That's why it's a matter of course for us to offer our check-in and check-out processes contactless. To make it all easier for you and to make your stay with us as special as possible, our the niu app is your perfect companion for a carefree stay at our the niu hotels.
With the app, you can check in digitally, open your room and have your bill easily sent directly to your smartphone. Totally hygienic and completely contactless. Of course, you also have the option of cashless payment. You can also conveniently use our app on your smartphone.
For the protection of our guests and staff, the recommended minimum distance of 1.5 meters between staff, guest and non-shared travelers will be maintained at all times. In areas where it is mandatory to wear a mouth/nose protection, it is to be worn in all public areas of the respective hotel. During check in and check out or when talking to our reception staff, a plexiglass distance guard provides additional security.
To break potential infection chains quickly and effectively, all NOVUM Hospitality hotels rely on the luca app as a digital tool for contact tracing in case of suspected infection. Our guests can use the app offer voluntarily and protect themselves and others even better while traveling via QR code. All data is transmitted to the responsible health authorities in compliance with the strictest security measures.
Our guests and employees are required to practice careful and regular hand hygiene and to adhere to cough-sneeze etiquette. For your safety, our employees are regularly informed about the latest hygiene regulations and trained accordingly. All surfaces in the public hotel area including all sanitary facilities as well as room cards are highly frequented and thoroughly cleaned. Numerous disinfectant stations for individual use can also be found in all our hotels. In addition, guests can obtain a free hygiene kit at the front desk if needed - consisting of a disposable face mask, disposable gloves, and a disinfectant wipe. We ensure that each guest room is adequately aired before re-occupancy and that hotel linen is cleaned exclusively using a washing process that ensures the highest possible level of safety.
Your room will be cleaned daily. All surfaces in the hotel room including the sanitary facilities, are cleaned with disinfectants. However, if you do not wish to have your room cleaned, please place the "Do Not Disturb" card on your room door.
In order for you to spend your stay with us feeling safe, all NOVUM Hospitality hotels (located in Germany) offer the purchase of COVID-19 self-tests. Each guest has the opportunity to receive one rapid test per day (nasal swab) for self-testing. There is a cost of 6.00€ per test. Our trained hotel staff will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have. Note: Please note that, depending on the requirements of the respective federal state, the test carried out in the hotel may not be sufficient as proof of accommodation. Therefore, please inform yourself in any case about the respective applicable requirements before starting your trip.
In order that you as a guest do not have to start your day without the first refreshment despite limited catering options, we ensure that breakfast can be offered in all hotels. Please note that due to the current situation, this may vary in diversity and composition at the moment. NOVUM Hospitality Hotels assure that all externally supplied food and beverages are prepared in compliance with strict hygiene regulations.
Due to the travel restrictions currently in place, our hotel portfolio is severely limited. Please understand that we cannot welcome you at all of our hotels at this time. Of course, the closure measures are limited in time, so that bookings can be made at a later date. We are confident that we will be able to offer you our full range of accommodation again as soon as possible and look forward to welcoming you again as usual at all our locations in Europe.
